A BDSM- and erotic-themed sword-and-sandal evening,
from antique Rome to the upper reaches of the Nile.

How about a trip back in time, all the way to Antiquity, with our « Fifty Shades of Greece » evening? Ancient Greece, its sensuous young males and its Goddesses of beauty, Ancient Rome, with its orgies, its gladiators and its slaves, Ancient Egypt, with its tombs, mysteries and mummifications, all of this wrapped up into a hybrid, innovative, fun-packed and convivial evening!

Play Currency

To better get you immersed into the period and forget reality, we have decided to introduce a play currency, the sesterce. A small amount will be handed to you on arrival, which will enable you to trade throughout the evening, and to take part in the various activities of the evening, such as attending arena games, embalmment rituals, or “buying” a slave on the market.

How to earn sesterces?

Sell your slave on the Forum.
Practice, as a dominant, a trainer or a submissive, a displayed wild animal, a tortured victim, before the audience in the Arena.
Offer yourself up, or your partner, to the pleasures of all in Aphrodite’s Temple.
Sacrifice yourself, or your partner, for a ritual mummification in the Tomb.

Structured around four sites, typical of the period and of its cultures, the evening will offer activities and play possibilities in line with the type of atmosphere and staging that sm.art alone can offer.

The Forum will be a place of exchanges, where everything can be bought and sold, from authentic beverages to exquisite dishes from exotic lands, but also lubricious slaves.

The Roman Arena will provide the opportunity for watching or taking part in cruel entertainment of the type enjoyed by all, such as the whip-training of wild animals or the exhibiting of subservient slaves by the Mistresses and Masters.

The Greek Temple will be a sensual retreat where you can delight in the pleasures of Aphrodite, Goddess of love and sex.

And the Egyptian Tomb, inaugurated by Orell Maroto Vallet and his performance « OUÂBET », with Elsa Ricq and music by Antoine Bonnet, will be the silent workshop accommodating mummification rituals and spiritual voyages up the Nile.

To blend in with the staging and find inspiration for the part you choose to play in this original and thrilling fantasy, the dress-code will call on features of the times : draped garments, colours, sequins, geometrical symbols, exotic jewelry. Take a look at a few examples of suitable clothing and accessories available from our partner, the Métamorph’Ose shop. You can also opt for a simple piece of material draped over your favourite fetish costume. And remember, in Greece, where the Epicurean philosophy of refined and sensual pleasures was born, total nudity was perfectly acceptable! Slaves may wear a simple loincloth, or a gladiator’s leather harness.
